WA Regenerative Livestock Producer's second Field Day attracted 40-60 producers keen to learn how to address some of the challenges integrating livestock into a Regenerative pasture system. The cohort heard from eight experts on topics of soil health, pasture and livestock systems, soil carbon, natural capital, and RAW Animal Health Body Condition Scoring. The event was delivered as part of the Landcare Australia Farming Benchmarking Project.
Supported by Landcare Australia, WA Regenerative Livestock Prodcuers inaugural Fiedl day was a demonstration hosted at Runnymede. The event was attended by almost 60 WA livestock producers and is one of three to be held by WARLP throughout the year. The focus targets included - understanding natural capital, the use of multi-species fodder cropping, holistic planned grazing and summer active perennial establishment.
